PULP 2.0 EXPLORES OUR PULP CULTURE WITH A NEW JOURNAL
Pulp 2.0 Press, headquartered in Glendale, CA is pleased to announce the launch of its new magazines for the discriminating pop culture enthusiast. With our Print-on-Demand partnership with Amazon, Pulp 2.0 is embarking on a new venture to publish two new 'zines for the pulp market.
LETHAL LADIES explores the fantastic femmes of pop culture - paperbacks, comics, movies, TV, and elsewhere. It also explores the context in which they were created, and the dichotomy that often occured when presenting an independent feminist character in an exploitative manner. Presented in a celebratory journal for both fans and pop culture academics.
Our Innaugural issue will cover one of the most collectible paperback series of the 1970's
DARK ANGEL. A series that straddles the line between feminist action fiction, and out-and-out exploitation. A product of the Book Creations Inc. fiction factory, it holds a unique spot in the pantheon of pulp culture. We are excited to dig into the history behind private investigator Angela Harpe and her "twin sister" Friday Foster.
